The pan-European Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities DARIAH organises the DARIAH Annual Event 2022 as a hybrid meeting on May 31st to June 3rd at the Eugenides Foundation in Athens, Greece. Topic of this year’s event is Storytelling.

After a gap year, due to the pandemic, the Summer School in Digital Humanities, organized by Digital Curation Unit and APOLLONIS Infrastructure returns as a virtual event on 13-15 July 2021!

Almost one year since the very successful “DH in the Time of Virus” Twitter conference, the Digital Curation Unit is organizing the follow-up event “DH goes Viral”, this time a digital workshop in which we aim to reunite the Twitter Conference participants alongside further DH researchers, in order to reevaluate and reappraise the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic in DH research.

Digital Curation Unit and APOLLONIS Infrastructure will organise a series of three online courses titled “Digital Collections Metadata Curation in the Arts and Humanities”.

An online discussion on the particularities and challenges of digital archives and collections holding resources on the turbulent 1940s.

As we are all going through some unprecedented and peculiar times, with COVID-19 spreading globally and disrupting the ways in which we work, collaborate, interact, conduct research and are being productive, Research and Innovation Center “Athena”, as co-ordinator of APOLLONIS, the Greek Infrastructure for Digital Arts, Humanities and Language Research and Innovation, is organizing a Twitter Conference under the title “DH in the Time of Virus”.

Professor Sarah Kenderdine (EPFL) will deliver the keynote speech titled “Archives in motion: digital collections and experimental museology” at the opening of our 1st Summer School in Digital Humanities.

APOLLONIS, the Greek Infrastructure for Digital Arts, Humanities and Language Research and Innovation was presented by the project coordinator and Head of DCU, Panos Constantopoulos, during the one-day event on National Research Infrastructures.
