The annual DARIAH technical meetings are taking place on 22-24 April 2015 in Ljubljana. It is the opportunity for all members to exchange about the progress they made over the last period in building up digital services for the humanities research community. In particular, we will take stock of the setting up of working groups as initiated during our last meeting in Rome. Several of them have started to work and have clear plans for delivery. We will also identify how the work carried out in our various European affiliated projects can now lead to real infrastructural components that will be sustained within DARIAH.
The themes are generic to promote cross-fertilization between the affiliated projects, VCCs, working groups and national efforts (inkinds). Each theme has 3 dedicated sessions in the agenda to explore the themes and to exchange visions, challenges and solutions. The outcome of the unconference should be a shared understanding of these themes as a source for improved and new collaborations. In addition, the outcomes of these sessions should lead to new and improved policies or guidelines for DARIAH.
We encourage participants from working groups, VCCs or affiliated projects to distribute themselves over multiple themes and to use the three slots to contribute to/learn about multiple themes. As the themes are inclusive, everybody should be able to pose their questions or share their thoughts!
