Vicky Dritsou

Vicky Dritsou is an informatician specialized in semantic databases, ontologies use and development, knowledge representation and management systems, conceptual modelling. She has participated as a research fellow in many research and development projects as a semantic web technologies and knowledge organization expert, both national and international.

She holds a BSc in Informatics (2003), an MSc in Information Systems (2005) and a PhD (2011) in Informatics, all three from the Department of Informatics of Athens University of Economics and Business. She teaches Systems Modeling and Knowledge Organization at the Department of Informatics of Athens University of Economics and Business. Before joining DCU, she has worked as a research associate for the Foundation of Research and Technology (FORTH) in Crete and for Polo di Genomica, Genetica e Biologia (Polo GGB) in Perugia, Italy.
